TBA Theatre is a local 501 (c)3 non-profit dedicated to training actors of all ages and to presenting professional quality entertainment at family friendly prices. Each year TBA presents a season of main stage productions as well as two Alaska Overnighters (with Three Wise Moose Theatre Company), Summer Theatre training Academies in Anchorage and Valdez as well as workshops, intensives and many special appearances. Just last year TBA was voted the Gold Standard in Family Fun by readers of the Anchorage Daily News and is the only Alaskan Theatre Company to perform at the Samuel French Short Play Festival in New York City.
This year TBA has experienced a 30% growth in enrollment in summer programs and has continued to see growth in the number of participants and attendance of main stage productions All proceeds from the event go directly to programming and development costs including scholarships, free tickets to shows for kids in need and expansion of the TBA studio to accommodate our continuing growth.
With the acquisition of additional studio space, TBA will be able to reach more artists and students in our community, as well as provide more scholarship opportunities for students throughout the year in our educational programs.
