  • 3 Barons Renaissance Fair (689)
    The Three Barons Renaissance Fair, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation founded to promote the arts in a unique environment in the Anchorage, Alaska area. We are a community based organization whose goal is to provide a place for artists and craftspeople of all sorts to show their skills, talents, and products to the populace at large. Our mission is to continue to provide this venue and to expand it wherever possible. We are an inclusive organization and encourage community attendance and participation.
  • APU Grant Hall (662)
    The E.R. Brown Auditorium offers an intimate 250-seat setting for presentations. This room is designed for musical and theatrical performances but also has been used for church meetings, product demonstrations and public forums.
  • Anchorage Community Theatre (656)
    Anchorage Community Theatre is a non-profit community theatre dedicated to the mission of bringing quality, family entertainment to the community of Anchorage. We are not only Anchorage's senior theatre company, but also provide opportunities for children and adults through our programs: the main stage ACT productions, and our Theatre School.
  • Anchorage Folk Fest (647)
    Each January, the Anchorage Folk Festival features performances by more than 120 acts from throughout Alaska and around the world.

    Singers, dancers, storytellers, and a variety of groups perform traditional and original material in styles ranging from folk to Celtic, bluegrass, jazz, klezmer and more. Guest artists from outside bring outstanding performances, workshops, and dances.

    The concerts and workshops are open to the public and are FREE.
  • Cyrano's Theatre Company (586)
    Eccentric Theatre Company (ETC) is the resident company at Cyrano's Off Center Playhouse in Anchorage, Alaska. It was formed in 1995 by a loose-knit group of volunteers committed to producing professional quality dramatic works utilizing Alaskan talent.
    This nurturing of regional talent is one of our most important goals. We've employed actors and technicians from Juneau to Fairbanks, and have made extensive use of UAA Theatre Department graduates. In this respect, we have been a bridge or transition point from academic theatre to professional careers.
  • West High Theatre (563)
    West Theatre is filled with some of the most energetic student performers in the State of Alaska. Each year they offer a full season of performances, from musicals to Shakespeare, before Alaskan audiences in the State's second largest performance space.
  • Scared Scriptless (547)
    Scared Scriptless is a comedy improv troupe (ir)regularly performing in Anchorage Alaska since August 2000. We perform the second Saturday of every month at Cyrano's Playhouse.
  • Last Frontier Theatre Conference (510)
    Held in Valdez every summer, sponsored by Prince William Sound Community College, this conference brings together some of the finest playwrights in the country to explore new works. TBA Theatre staff have become regular participants, earning high esteem as readers & event assistants.
  • Alaska Junior Theatre (495)
    Alaska Junior Theater presents live, professional theater for young audiences across the state of Alaska. AJT has delighted students over the last 20 years with shows of music, mime, marionettes, plays and other live performances. Our rural outreach program has also taken shows to communities around the state, including Barrow, Bethel, Nome, Kotzebue, Atqasuk and Kenai, and additional students from Talkeetna to Valdez have participated in performance workshops presented by our visiting artists.
  • Three Wise Monkeys (448)
    Three Wise Monkeys Theatre Company, started in 2001 by Dawson Moore, Richard Bernier and Aoise Stratford, is a not for profit company dedicated to supporting, promoting and producing the best work by upcoming and local writers of all demographics, with an emphasis on youth, language, and theatricality.

    Three Wise Monkeys currently has two annual festivals slated: BOA (Bay One-acts) and the Short Leaps Ten Minute Play Marathon. In addition, Three Wise Monkeys is set to produce a small number of full-length plays each year, mostly by local Bay-area writers. We are also introducing a new short plays program called Overnighters, which will be run both here in the Bay Area and in other states, using the resident talent pool in each place as a way of nurturing local theatre in other communities.
