You are cordially invited to TBA Theatre's Open House Celebration!
Join the staff of TBA Theatre as we christen our brand new studio. This Friday, February 16th from 7pm-9pm. See where our offices are, where rehearsals will be, and where our Theatre Store classes are held. There will be food, fun door prizes, a silent auction, entertainment and a sing-a-long with the cast of Rail Tales. Maybe you could win TBA gear, tickets to upcoming shows, hand knitted and crocheted items, dresses from the "Always a Bridesmaid" Collection, or maybe your very own rubber chicken. And these are just some of the door prizes and silent auction items we have available!
If you have any items that you would like to donate for the silent auction or for door prizes, please call 677-PLAY (7529) or email play@tbatheatre.org
Driving Directions to the TBA Studio:
From the New Seward Highway;
- Exit heading west (toward the Dimond Center) on Dimond Blvd
- Take the first right after Denny's (a driveway between Denny's & Sicily's)
- You will see a office building in front of you
- Turn right in front of Bagoy's Flourist
- Take a left just past Bagoy's and you will drive into our parking lot
- The building is on your left and we are the second suite.
Additional Notes:
If you are headed east Dimond, you can make a left hand turn across traffic onto Briarwood drive before Sicily's.
If you are traveling South on the New Seward, you will see the TBA Studio on your right as you exit on the Dimond ramp.
Hop on board as some of Anchorage's favorite storytellers and balladeers share tunes & tales of the great American railroad. A hand-clapping, foot-stomping, sing-along good time for the whole family.

It's time to hit the slopes as TBA Theatre and Polaris K-12 join forces for another hilarious physical comedy adventure in YODEL-LAY-HE-HOO.
This time the Abominable Snowman is loose in the Alps and there is nothing that the Burgermeister, his wife, the ski patrol or the guests staying at Alpine Oops can do!
YODEL-LAY-HE-HOO features the talents of students from Polaris K-12 as well as critically acclaimed Anchorage comedians Shane Mitchell, Petra Banks, Audra Nabinger, Kristin Fernandez and Carl Bright, and is directed by the internationally celebrated comic maestro, Wayne Mitchell.
YODEL-LAY-HE-HOO is one third less serious than other shows.
YODEL-LAY-HE-HOO plays January 19th & 20th at APU's Grant Hall. Friday & Saturday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm. Tickets are $5 and available at the door. Call 677-PLAY(7529) for more information.

Many Thanks to all who auditioned you were absolutely wonderful! I wish I could have cast everyone, but the dressing rooms are just too small! I encourage those not cast to audition for our spring musical TREASURE ISLAND. For those cast our first rehearsal will be Monday, November 6 at St. Marks Lutheran Church on Lake Otis across from Lake Otis Elementary at 6pm. Please post a comment to except your role!
Thanks again to everyone - click read more to see the cast list!

Many thanks to everyone who braved the bad driving conditions and came to auditions!
Remember, just because you are not called back doesn’t mean you are not cast. There are actors not called back who will be cast in the show and actors called back who might not be cast. And don't forget that there are many factors that decide casting besides acting ability including; schedule conflicts, height, appearance, age, etc. The final cast list will be posted at Noon on Thursday Nov 2. Please check back to see if you are cast.
Callbacks will be held Wednesday, November 1 from 6-8:30pm at APU Grant Hall. If you cannot make callbacks and are listed please call us at 677-PLAY or email play@tbatheatre.org
Please click on read more to see the callback list!
