Our primary mission is in theatre education. We offer a variety of classes to the public from ages 5 to adult. Visit our Theatre Store page for details on current offerings.

TBA: Training Better Artists, Toward a Better Alaska!
Auditions for our upcoming holiday musical That Christmasy Feeling will be Friday October 12 from 6 - 9 at APU Grant Hall. Roles are available for youth and adults. Please prepare a one minute selection of your favorite traditional holiday song and be prepared to sing the first verse and chorus of Jingle Bell Rock for the dance auditions. Backstage opportunities are also available for those who are shy of the spotlight. For more information, call 677-PLAY or email play@tbatheatre.org

Illusions 4: Under the Big Top takes to the stage in a visual feast of acrobatics, juggling, comedy and magic! With a slight nod towards the traditional three-ring circus, this artistic extravaganza in the cirque nouveau style is sure to delight audiences both young and old!

There are 18 roles available for ages 12 to adult, 9 Male and 9 Female.
Monologues are welcome at auditions but not required.
Please be prepared to stay for the entire audition time.
There will be a callback audition on Saturday September 15 at 2pm. The Callback List will be posted by midnight Friday evening.

Based on Robert Louis Stevenson's Victorian tale of terror, THE STRANGE CASE OF DR. JEKYLL & MR. HYDE is considered to be the forerunner of the modern horror fiction novel. This adaptation, by award-winning playwright P. Shane Mitchell, is sure to delight fans of both the original novel and the contemporary horror genre.

TBA Theatre is taking a bite out of the Big Apple!
We are proud to announce that TBA has had two plays accepted to the Samuel French Off-Off-Broadway Short Play Festival P. Shane Mitchell's The Resurrection of Humpty Dumpty and Arlitia Jones's Grand Central & 42nd.
Both plays were written as part of the Alaska Overnighters series here in Anchorage.
TBA will be performing each show in New York on June 15th & 16th, and we need your help to get there! This is a great opportunity for TBA and all of its supporters to show how great Alaska can shine in the theatres of New York!
