Arnold Lobel's well-loved characters hop from the page to the stage! Follow the cheerful Frog and the rather grumpy Toad through four fun-filled seasons as they plant gardens, swim, rake leaves and go sledding and learn important life lessons about friendship along the way. This Broadway musical romp is sure to be a delight for the whole family! A Year with Frog & Toad May 8 - 17 Friday & Saturday at 7pm ? Brown auditorium in Grant Hall on the APU campus. With classes for students aged 8 - 18, this is a comprehensive program designed to help young people develop theatre skills in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Each Academy member will receive training in specialized areas of the performing arts including Acting, Stage Combat, Voice and Dance. Academy actors will each be cast in a show with two fully staged public performances at APU Grant Hall.

For the experienced and serious actor, minimum age 12 years. Advanced Academy students will train in an intensive performance program that allows them to find their artistic voices and develop their creative talents to their fullest potential. Each student will be cast in a show with two fully staged public performances at APU Grant Hall. Prerequisites must be met and approved by the education committee to enroll. 'Tis the season to be jolly but Mr. Ebenezer Scrooge doesn't think so. Only the intervention of a host of ghosts can save the hard hearted old miser from his sinful ways. Join Scrooge, the Cratchits, the Fezziwigs, and a cast of over fifty urchins, carolers, spirits and shop keepers in this seasonal treat for the whole family.
